A Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) filter is engineered to keep coolant clean and flowing efficiently within liquid cooling systems. It plays a key role in data centers, AI/HPC facilities, and industrial cooling setups, safeguarding sensitive equipment and supporting uninterrupted system operation.
These filters are ideal for various cooling loops, including primary and secondary CDU filtration, direct-to-chip (D2C) circuits, side-stream immersion cooling, and server rack supply and return lines. With multi-stage filtration options ranging from 5–200 μm microns, they effectively remove debris, particulates, and corrosion, preventing blockages in pipes, pumps, and heat exchangers.
BOLEFIL CDU filters offer customizable inlet/outlet sizes and installation dimensions to fit diverse system designs. Built for high reliability, low pressure drop, and long service life, they ensure smooth and stable coolant circulation, providing critical thermal management support for modern AI, HPC, and large-scale data centers.
Get a QuoteLiquid cooling systems often face challenges that directly impact performance and reliability. Contaminants such as debris, metal fragments, biofilm, and corrosion by-products can block pumps, cold plates, and heat exchangers, reducing coolant flow and heat transfer efficiency. Unfiltered coolant can cause cold plate blockage, a 6–10°C temperature rise in GPU racks, pump failures, and unexpected downtime.
At the same time, increased pressure drop can raise coolant temperatures by 3–8°C in high-density racks, affecting GPU stability and overall system operation. Incompatible materials may also cause swelling, degradation, or precipitation, accelerating corrosion inside cold plates and heat exchangers and shortening coolant lifespan.
BOLEFIL CDU filters are designed to meet industry and regulatory requirements, including ASHRAE TC9.9 (Thermal Guidelines for Data Centers), ISO 4406:2021 (Fluid Cleanliness), and UL standards for filters in dielectric fluid systems.
All materials comply with REACH and RoHS regulations, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDs) are provided for all coolant-contact components.
BOLEFIL CDU filters simplify integration into liquid cooling systems by offering fast design turnaround and flexible customization. No matter the connection type, flange size, or overall dimensions, our engineering team can prepare a tailored 3D design in just 24 hours. Samples are ready for delivery within 7 days, even for non-standard configurations. With competitive pricing and rapid prototyping, BOLEFIL makes it easier to implement reliable, high-performance filtration for data centers and industrial cooling setups.

Read MoreHigh flow filters offer several advantages, including higher flow rates, smaller system size, reduced filter change-out frequency, and lower operating costs. They are ideal for applications requiring high-purity water, such as in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries.
Brother Filtration's team of experts can help you select the best high flow filter for your specific needs. We consider factors such as flow rate, particle size, temperature, and chemical compatibility to recommend the most effective and efficient solution.
Pleated high flow filters have a larger surface area, providing higher flow rates and longer service life. Depth high flow filters have a graded density, which allows them to capture a wide range of particle sizes. The choice between the two depends on the specific application and contaminant being filtered.
