What is a metal filter cartridge?

Metal filter cartridges are used in instances where conventional filters are insufficient. This situation may be caused by high temperatures, high pressures, corrosive chemicals, or the necessity to clean and reuse the cartridge. Titanium is occasionally utilized in addition to 316/304 stainless steel as the primary material of the metal filter cartridge.

Brother Filtration introduced a new range named Metalman in the summer of 2022. To meet all kinds of unique filtration requirements, The Metalman comes with a number of unusual metal cartridges. We use titanium in addition to premium stainless steel, and we think these new goods will capture your attention.

What is Metalman Titanium Cartridge Filter?

Metalman Titanium Cartridge Filter(TCF) is an effective solid-liquid separation cartridge made of more than 99.4% high purity titanium structure. Due to its broad chemical compatibility, Metalman TCF can be used for the filtration of most liquids. TCF has a very good solid-liquid separation effect on low viscosity liquid with rigid particles. Best results are achieved when used in combination with a titanium rod filter.

With its all-high purity titanium construction, Brother Filtration TCF has no particle migration and resistance to temperature, corrosion, and oxidation.

The TCF has high porosity which results in low-pressure drop and high permeability. Also, the structure of TCF is uniform, the pore size distribution is narrow and the separation ratio is high.

Additionally, the TCF can operate at 280℃, which is a hard task for a conventional filter cartridge. With all these outstanding advantages mentioned above, Brother Filtration TCF is suitable for applications such as decarbonization and filtration of liquids, chemical reagents, ozonated water filtration, steam filtration, etc.
